Author and presenter Patrick Mader is excited to come to the hometown of 2020 Olympic swimming sensation and three-time medalist Regan Smith.  Lakeville has had many remarkable athletes competing at the national and world stage which also includes track and field thrower Liz Podominic, an alternate at the 2016 Olympic Games, and 2004 Olympian volleyball player Wiz Bachman.

A multi-media Power Point slide show will be shown and explained to students and staff with time allowed for questions during each period of presentations.  Patrick interviewed Regan and Wiz in person and and will share his insights on their remarkable achievements.

Other Dakota County Olympic athletes will also be highlighted:  cross country skiers Todd Boonstra of Eagan and Lindsay Williams of Hastings; track and field athlete Shani Marks of Apple Valley; and gold medalist Tom Malchow of Mendota Heights.
